I am saying you have a type of sea spider (Pycnogonid). There are many hundreds of types of sea spiders and their sizes run small to very large. They come in black, brown, yellow, orange, red and even blue. They can be striped, solid or spotted. They are mostly leg with minute bodies. They eat all corals and inverts of all types, from starfish, hydroids, sea anemones etc. They cause stn as they feed. Remove them from your tank to prevent them from killing your inhabitants. Would you be able to post a pic so I could see his body to make sure of my Id? Thanks.

Not a sea spider....definitely brittle stars.
