I just moved into a 75 from a 50 (4days ago) and my Star Polyp (at least that's what I think it is) has not "bloomed" since the move the tips are still white but it isn't opening up all of the parameters are very close
PH 8.2-8.3 in both
Ammonia 0-.25 hard to tell
Nitrite 0-.25
Nitrate 5
Phosphate 0-.25
Calcium in both is quite low or I just don"t know what I am doing, 250
SG in both 1.026
Temp is 76-77
Using the Milwaukee saltwater tester for salinity and API for others
Saltwater is made from RO water and Tropic Marin Reef
Lights are 2 Viparspectra Aquarium set at blue level 20 on from 0800-2100 white is set at 30 and on from 0900-2000.
Filtration for old tank was just a HOB filter new tank is sump with 4" sock filter and Coralife Super Skimmer
I have been battling a Dino problem in the new tank but other than that no other issues
lights are set at 8" above water and around 18" from very top of rock and in moderate flow
This is the best picture I could get of what it looked like in old tank
