Sorry, life's been a bit busy with the holiday season coming in - going by what I can see in the photos, did your tunicates look like any of the tunicates from the genera Clavelina or Pycnoclavella?

NP. I've lost the specimen so I can't confirm with the two genera you've noted.
It looked like a five-pedal flower when I discovered it. Looking at Tunicates, I can't confirm if there were two characteristic openings on it. The photo of it collapsed doesn't show two openings either.

Finally found the time to give this a proper lookover - I agree that was not a hydroid medusa. It does look like it was either a settling larval coral or a settling larval anemone - I couldn't tell you which or what species, but it's very neat to get pics and video of it either way!It would be interesting to see what you find. I'm looking forward to it.
I've seen a couple of things growing out in my tank. I wonder if you can ID this polyp thing I discovered as well. It has been lost since the video recording and I assume is somewhere else in the tank. Shortly after taking the video, and posting it in a help-ID thread, I came back to find it was gone. Some have claimed to be a medusa hydroid but looking at references it wasn't that. To me, it looked like an Acropora polyp stuck to the glass.

Baby Coral?
I was just looking at my tank tonight and notice some specks on the glass. I went in for a closer inspection to see what it was as it seems to be flailing about with the current. Then I noticed what looked like polyp tentacles flailing. I have no idea what this is but can it be a baby coral...www.reef2reef.com

Thanks for looking Indo appreciate it. I hope it's growing somewhere in the tank. I was really excited to see it but fingers crossed it's not something bad when fully grown. Hopefully one day I just find an amazing looking coral/nem somewhere.
