Star Trek PE?

:)

Most from zoacollector, some from Aloha Corals.

Not all of zoacollectors polyps are hawaiian - many of those that are offered on the site are brought in from elsewhere.

I have the white ones too. Didn't know they were also ding dang morphs. They are pretty cool looking.

White PE

White PE is just that, White PE - Kevin told me that he has a site he collected those from in the wild. They are not a bleached or morphed Ding Dang (at least not a tank morph)

I thought Kevin named those white ones something else. But I remember talking to him about the DingDangs and the HI-PE's cause to me they were very similar just a tad extra color here and there.

Kevin told me he just recently lost his only Hi-PE colony.

You might be right. My Ding Dang cluster has all kinds of colors.

Looks like two different corals . They look different so it must be a new coral...

We had a submission from someone the other day. They submitted them as "star Trek PE's". We thought they looked like the Ding Dang so we had a few people review the coral and the census was it was a ding dang morph. People don't understand the way these Ding Dangs can morph. We told them this was a Ding Dang Morph and they got offended and said we have no idea what we are talking about and not to use their picture anymore. Sad thing is they said they did not care about the name!!!!

Here is the picture that was submitted. Not our picture.

True. I only named the them White People Eaters. Nothing fancy.

Scary, since that is against state law.

WPE are a seperate morph. I searched for over year to find the colony pictured on this site: Phylum Cnidaria - Zoanthid Anemones

Kevin told me he just recently lost his only Hi-PE colony.

I did... :( Mother colony fell face down and sat there for 3 days while i was in Maui.

I havn't seen any Hi-PEs. Any Pics?

Kev,

Can you post side by side pics of the DingDangs, HI-PE, PR HawaiianPE. So all can see for them selves?

thanks
Charles

I had some DingDangs morph to similar to the HI-PE's, the polyps on the top HIPE pics. Don't have them anymore as they were lost during the tank crash. That was the reason I emailed you last time to check as I was intrested in the HI-PE's and thought they looked awfully close to morphed DingDangs, don't know if you remember me emailing you a while back.

I remember... My first love is complete combustion mixed in with a little forced induction. I always remember the car guys. :)
