My lfs got in a star urchin... can't find much with this name. I fell in love but did not buy! I'm being good so can someone please help me figure out if these guys are suitable for a reef.

Pincushin, ORA urchins, and Tuxedo do not get too large and are great algae eaters.

All Urchins have the potential to knock over frags, and small rocks.

I supplement the feedings with sheets of Nori. They learn really quickly were to go to feed.

Be careful when you work in the tank. :-)

I have had these guys in my 120. I live urchins. I plan on getting more for the 220. I now think the star urchin is astropyga radiata. I've read these may be more trouble like pencil urchins. I am trying to find out if I supply meat to the diet if it will still go after corals.
