I'll soon be purchasing a Red sea reefer 525 G2. 59"L x 23.5"W. Since it will be a BB tank , rocks will be glued together but for additional safety was thinking about using starboard for bottom. 1. Should I use it? 2. what thickness to use? 3. any cons to using it? THX

I do something similar in all my tanks with abs I think it's just under 1/2" thick cut to size then black aquarium silicon to hold it down.
