Starfish arms detoriating

I received a delivery of a clean up crew and this star fish arrived with what look like melted legs? Should I add to my aquriam?

I would not add it. Once they start down that path, I've never seen one recover.

Well, it's unlikely to recover on the one hand but on the other hand you don't really lose much if you add it and it dies vs it having no chance at all. Ime they don't release much ammonia when they die but the outlook for him doesn't look well honestly.
