Starfish curled up

Any ideas why this starfish is curled up? We added her to the tank 18 hours ago. PH was low and has been adjusted.

How did you acclimate it?
Sea stars can be very sensitive to salinity changes

As salty said above, was the starfish acclimated to the tank? If so how was it acclimated, and what are the tank's parameters and how old is the tank?

my son did the acclimating, so Im not sure the steps her took.
Is it just a waiting game now, or should I be taking any action?

If it's already in the tank i'd leave it. Taking any further action could cause it more stress and kill it. Best bet now is to try to keep your tank stable and keep a close eye on it

Not much you can do. It's a wait and see as far as ancclimation prob.
