Starfish Disintegrating...

Hey all,
Unfortunately my beautiful Tile Star is disintegrating... Is it bad to leave him in the tank will it cause any harm or should I remove him as soon as I can?

Should remove him, death = ammonia. So sorry about your starfish.

Normal for these starfish to do this after a year or so.
I think its from starvation.
+1....remove.
