Just started warming these bags up because they seemed a little cold ans noticed this guy. Can anyone identify?

This is a micro brittle star, which is a common hitchhiker, not a sand-sifting starfish.
Micro brittle stars are good detritivores and scavengers that like to hide in sand and rockwork.

Micro brittle stars are extremely resilient creatures. They can easily handle extreme temperatures and survive the cycling process, from my experience. They also reproduce readily, but do not reach plague populations.

After close examination it is a juvenile zebra brittle star. It is missing two appendages, but he got tossed in the tank. Maybe I'll see him again one day.

Really. I've had many brittle star hitchhikers and this one looks.... different, it's arms seem unusual for brittle stars

The arms do look a little wide, though it may possibly be due to camera distortion.
