Keep an eye on it what is it eating. It is the only way to find out what type of starfish is it. I think it may be a Fromia milleporella yellow tipped variety which are not an easy animal to keep. They eat a variety of films and sponges in the tank. There is not really a way to feed them, your tank either has enough of its food source or it doesn’t. They are easier than some other sea stars.Go figure, my crab must have needed a ride

Yes you can be right..Orange Linkia
No. Just about an anemone crab catching a ride in a starfishI figured this post was a pun about the hitchhiking crab since it's just in the general discussion section
I thought it was going to be about aquilonastra/asterina lol!I figured this post was a pun about the hitchhiking crab since it's just in the general discussion section
OP said it’s an orange linckia and this post is satire lol!Looks like a Fromia! Not easy to keep but not impossible either...you should definitely offer supplemental feedings imo
Oh haha...tbh i think it might be misidentified (not that it really matters though if it's a satire post)OP said it’s an orange linckia and this post is satire lol!
It looks like an orange linckia or maybe an echinaster or luzon to me! I wonder how long they’ve had it?!O

It's hard to tell without a picture from above with the arms outstretched but like i said, doesn't really matter if it's just satire... really not in the mood for looking close enough to identify right now anyhow...It looks like an orange linckia or maybe an echinaster to me! I wonder how long they’ve had it?!
