So I finally checked out my tank after a few days and found this star moving across my rock it about 1in in size. Could this be a mutant astrina.
I know my sand sifting star lost parts of its legs a long time ago. But I seriously dought it could be that.

This thing must be the queen of all asterina. I just put it back in the tank. I figured I have no coral they can attack.
