Starfish Question

Ok, thank you. What makes the other ones hard to feed out of curiosity?
Some types of brittle (large) or serpent stars may work but it would be a very tight fit in your tank and that's why I don't reccomend it. You need a bigger tank for a sand sifting star. Your tank won't have enough food to support it.

Most other sea stars, like linkia are not well suited for life in captivity. Some may pull off a few years with it in much larger tanks but they still won't live as long as they do in the wild. The Most common cause of death is them becoming malnourished.
