Does anyone have an Enchinaster Sentus? The Common Florida Sea Star? I’ve heard they are hardy little guys and may be able to live in a nano. But I know all starfish are hard to keep and typically don’t live a really long time in captivity especially compared to in the wild. :(

Off topic but I'm in love with my orange Linckia! I've had him about 4 or 5 months and he's doing great...the funniest thing about him is that he literally sleeps sometimes...seems weird for starfish to take naps IMG_20220428_070549.jpg

Its just a 10 gallon... they're notoriously hard to keep though according to others. I used all live rock straight from the ocean though which I think helps him...all the bacterial diversity that creates biofilm is what I suspect he primarily eats

I think it's safe to say you wanna stay away from Linckias at least at this point even though they're some of the most beautiful since they come in red, orange, and blue
They definitely need live rock from the ocean I think , I would watch it eat all my yellow ball sponges lol

I think everyone does lol. They are the hardest starfish to keep in captivity and are expert-level.
