The other day a family member noticed that one of my chocolate chip starfishes legs was all the way back, touching the middle of his back. I didnt think much of it until the next morning I looked and it was still in that position, but had small white spots starting to form. I immediately took parameters of my tank and they all are on point. I've had him in the tank for roughly a month and a half with no problems so far. I quickly did some research and found he could either be starving or didnt acclimate to the new tank correctly? When I purchased him, my LFS advised me to purchase these small shrimp for him to eat. And I mean they are tiny. I've been feeding him those since, is it not enough? The white spots have grown since the other day, but they aren't absolutely horrible yet, but I want to nip this in the butt before it gets untreatable. What can I do to prevent it from getting worse? Please help!!

The tank is 5 months old, I had is cycling for 3 months before putting my clownfish in and then a few weeks later my chocolate chip in. There is algae on the glass and live rocks, and I did go out today and get larger shrimp and some raw clams. Would you recommend freeze dried plankton instead?
