Perhaps I'm misunderstanding, you plan on keeping them with a harlequin shrimp? That will last no more than a day.

Also, that tank looks super new. Those starfish do much better in a well established system.

Lol i got them as food for my harliquins...i know they r just a food source. Also...i paid nothing for these starfish...they were wild caught by my and my husband at the beach last month. We had them in our big tank...but even with feeding them..they were trying to eat our corals...so we set up and fully cycled this tank just for them. They just got put into this tank lastnight after testing the perameters and it cycling for a full 45 days...

If the shrimp doesn't kill the starfish then starvation will. That tank is too new.

And thwy r not starving...hahahaha they get fed every single day by hand.....but..ya no....i guess thats what people get for not knowing the full spectrum of whats happening or going on....

Following. :-).

Curious to see how this works out. Figured they would turn out to not be reef safe.

Yeah we knew they werent reef safe, but we had to keep them somewhere until their tank was done

That makes a lot more sense now.
