Starfish?

So anybody know what this little guy is? I just saw for the first time since I set up my tank. I saw him the day after I put the live rock in as well and just assumed he had died. Last night I noticed it looked like he was munching away at some Coraline too.

Asterina is the usual answer. Can you get a better pic?

Looks like an asterina to me as well. They will spread readily in the tank and they can get to epic proportions pretty quick. Best to toss it in your sump IMO.

I’ll try to get a better pic. Using my iPhone and it was struggling to focus because my clowns and yellow tang kept swimming in and out of frame. dang fish are camera junkies lol

So just found 2 doing a water change. Removed both from my display.
