Ok i have had a Starry Blenny in QT for about 3 weeks now. He has gone through 2 rounds of prazipro. Question is because my Starry has so many white speckles in his color to begin with how do you see if it has Ich. I'm finding it very hard to tell.

Look at him from the sides. You don't see the Ich itself, you see mucus streamers that are the fishes biological response to Ich. If the white spot is smooth, it isn't ich. It's easiest to see on the fins.

The white spots look like grains of salt with Marine Ich.

With the presence of mucous it's commonly Brooklynella or Velvet. If able post an image of the fish please.
