SCIENTIFIC NAME -Salarias ramosus
COMMON NAME – Starry Blenny, Snowflake Blenny
SIZE – 5 1/2"
MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE – 30 gallons
FOODS AND FEEDING – Herbivore
REEF COMPATIBILITY – Yes
CAPTIVE CARE INFO – A well-established 30 gallon or larger aquarium with multiple swimming levels and plenty of rock is a suitable environment. It is not usually aggressive unless the tank mates appear to have a similar shape as it does. It is best to house singly unless kept in a larger tank and the two are a mated pair. It tends to perch and hop from rock to rock looking for microalgae to graze on.
The Starry Blenny does best in well-established aquariums with large amounts of natural algae to feed on. The diet can be supplemented with vegetable matter, Spirulina, and herbivore preparations.

I do not think I have ever had a fish with SO much personality. He really livens up the tank when he decides to venture out (which is a lot more often than I would have thought). He likes to sleep in a clam shell, he rips nori right off the clip but loves his mysis. A really wonderful fish.

One of my favorite fish!! Really great personality like Squishie89 menionted above. Always scared me when i turned off my pumps he would hide in the pumps.
