I have had this puffer for well over a year.

It seems depressed and not swimming as much. I can’t get it to eat. It use to be so excited to see the bad of food. It would shake and spit water at me.

Lately it just sits around.

It’s been going on for a week. My water all tests fine now other issues. Nothing visible.

One fish was giving it a hard time so I pulled the puffer last night. I had heard could me flukes. So I fresh water dipped for 5 mins then moved to its own small tank. I’m plan on running prazi in the tank just in case. However when I dipped I saw nothing come out.

I’m at a lose. Not sure what’s going on

His/her teeth need trimmed. They are much too long and is impeding her eating properly. We had a Dog Face with the same thing going on. The key was to trimming the teeth back.

He does not even seem to have interest in food at all. You feel his teeth could be the cause of this?

Do they look too long to you? If so any suggestions on trimming them? [emoji15]

yes, they certainly too long. If you google it you should find a bunch of write ups and videos on it. Personally bone cutters like coral cutters work well. I've seen like toe nail clippers, dremel tools. Just type "trim puffer fish teeth" into google or bing or probably the search engine here and watch some of the videos. It's really not hard at all.
