So I lost another Colony last night. I pulled it and cut off a few small pieces that still had flesh. These stars were all over it. I realize they could have just been taking care of an already dead coral but maybe they did the damage?

I've had a similar issue with my acros.. i doubt the stars killed it tho. They just get on the dead spots l.

I just got me a harlequin shrimp and he's already clearing them off. I recommend investing in one as well.

I don't have any first hand experience with them but the only healthy coral that I've heard of asterina starfish eating is certain zoas. I'd agree it was probably just cleaning off dead tissue.
