Thanks @thatone08 and @vetteguy53081 for your help. After getting the suggested CuC, the tank(including glass) is now totally clean, and I didn't even have to put my hand in the tank.
However, I noticed my hermits are dying. I have 2 small blue leg hermits purchased last week from LFS, and 1 huge hermit with Orange stripes on the claws(not sure what kind of hermit) that I moved from my other tank 2 days ago(4 year old tank). The 2 blue leg hermits are still alive but they are not very active. They stayed in 1 place for a whole day, but the claws are still moving around. the large Hermit was moved to this tank 2 days ago and he is now lying in the sand upside down. The Large hermit was ok in the other tank for 4 years. What could be the issue?
the snails are all thriving. What could be the issue with the hermits?
