My new 10g tank is finally cycle and I have added one fish in the tank. Turns out a few days in, I believe the fish has ich. Since it’s only 1 fish, and I’m thinking setting a cheap 10g QT tank just powerhead and heater and move the clown fish there while treating it. So the question is shall I start over? How do I clean the rocks for the parasite? Soak in rodi water? I can replace the sands since I have 15lb left. Start the cycling again! Or keep it fish less for 76 days?

Running on empty. Good to add clean up crews and some corals though right? I may need to feed corals to keep some nitrate
its up to you but it can be hard to keep corals happy when there’s no fish in the tank from lack of nutrients. Also same reason that the CUCs might starve because there’s no leftover food or algae for them to eat.

You can manage it. Ich is really hard to keep out...even for the experts.

That’s my thought of feeding the corals and supplements cuc with cucumber or something

Any suggestions on food for immune system?
I’m feeding him hikari. No need for treatment for fish or just rodi dip?
For me it goes like this with food:

- Feed high quality food
- Feed a variety of foods
- Feed often (2 times a day minimum)
- Soak food in vitamins like vitachem or selcon or vitamarin

That’s a pretty good regimen. High quality foods with a lot of protein and keeping the fish fed regularly goes a long way.

What if the fish is eating less? Should I treat the fish on rodi dip or using copper on QT tank? How about adding future fish?

When I used to feed my tang I would rinse the shrimp in rodi water and in fish net then soak the shrimp in the garlic water in a small cup and leave it there for like 5 min then take out the shrimp and feed the tank.

Go fallow for at least 76 days.
Tear down tank - clean/bleach everything, add the new gravel I already have and recycle about 30 days tops.
That is a tuff one.
