It measures 48x24x36 its going to have my 75 gallon tank on it for now but will eventually have a 120 gallon on it. I've got some more supports to weld in tomorrow but the majority is done. I'm debating weather to have it powder coated or just paint it. I'm getting excited I've been collecting equipment since March its time to finish this build lol.

What wall thickness tubing did you use?
Since you are in CA, I would seriously consider adding at least one diagonal, or gussets to the corners to prevent racking. A good size earthquake and 120g of water could potentially put enough side load on it to rack it over.

Here's a photo of a very similar sized stand I built for a peninsula orientation 48x24 tank. Note the corner gussets on the one end.

.083 I'm not done with it yet I'll be adding more supports. My welder and tools are at my parents house ( I currently don't have a garage to work in) so I can can only work in the evening after work. I'll definitely be adding additional support. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it up tomorrow

That looks great. Did you paint it or powder coated it? I'm planning on making magnetic wood covering for mine so I can have easy access to the sump. I hated having to work around the doors on my last tank.

I powder coated it.
On this one I used magnets to hold black felt fabric as a stand “skin”.
On my other build I did the magnetic wood panels. I agree, way better than doors!

I was hoping to finish it up today but I ran out gas for the welder. I'll have to wait until Monday to get the tank exchanged. Or I can switch to the stick welder but I really hate stick welding.
