So I have been out of hobby for about 10 years I believe. In the past I had 2 great Reef tanks wife and I loved. I have 280g and 29g tanks. After few years with those I had to get out of the hobby and sold it all off. My kids (15yr old daughter and 9 year old son) were looking at photos of the old setup. They loved looking them. After that they asked if could setup one. I told them if they wanted to and would take time with it that they could. My daughter ended up getting good deal on 20g Long AIO setup on Offerup and she got it. I helped her get it setup and start cycling. It's 20g with DIY AIO system. Has 3 chambers. First Hydor Skim skimmer, second some floss and some Xport BIO Cubes and third return pump and heater. Came with ocean Revive Arctic T247-B LED lights. We added some Carbsea Live sand. I think about 20lbs and about same in Live Rock. Also been adding some Frizyme 9 to help cycle. Please it's been some time since doing this anything else we need do or get etc? They have been good saving $ but limited budget. With this COVID and being let go from job I can't help much money wise but I am home to help them.
Also if I should 3d print anything for setup I can. I have 2 3d printers I built (other hobby) and 1 resin SLA printer. One of my printed can handle pretty large jobs. Also if anyone else need things printed PLEASE hit me up!
