Started Refugium (Chaeto)?

I did a make over with my refugium. Installed a Kessil H380 light, 30 lbs Miracle Mud, added a small ball of Chaeto. Since Saturday the Chaeto seems to be loosening up and tumbling. It also seems to have air bubbles on it from the skimmer discharge. It that a normal characteristic of Chaeto? Thanks Reefers. I will attach a couple pics of Saturday and today.

It’s not typical , but not unexpected.

Like all major additions , there’s going to be some settling and rebalancing.
