Starting a quarantine/nano reef tank?

I've had my 29g cube up and running for 6 months now, and have enjoyed it more than I ever imagined I would. I do not have a quarantine tank yet, and a recent ich scare has jump started my desire, and my understanding of a need for one.

Now, my idea is to get a quarantine tank up and going, but make it a tank that is a beautiful display tank as well. I only have 4 fish, and don't plan on getting any more, so it will not be a heavily used quarantine tank. I want a small nano tank that will house a small bit of live rock, sand, and a few pieces of hardy soft coral.

Even if having a quarantine tank that is also a display tank isn't possible, I want a little nano with some pretty coral in our living room anyways! So, does anybody have any suggestions on hardware to get this thing up and running?

Here is my current 29g biocube. Since this picture I've added a rock in the middle to create a few more tunnels and caves, a diamond Goby which is keeping my sand extremely clean now, as well as a Hollywood stunner chalice which is doing well.

Well anything is possible you just have to keep in mind a qt is not a DT you don't won't Rock or sand in it because if your fish get ick or velvet you can't treat them with copper or cp the sand and rock absorb the meds and you will never get an accurate dose and you run the risk of dosing until a thereputic level is achieved and all of a sudden the rock or sand releases some copper and it might kill the fish. My suggestion go bare bottom with some pvc tubes for the fish to hide in and a sponge filter of an hob filter with sponge only in it. Search setting up a qt on this site there's some great info
