Starting new again help me with good start

Hi guys I was doing good on ada 15g nano and was had a good growth on all softie lps, and easy sps but due to having small space, it limited my choice on live stock which makes hobby not interested.

Due to having small space for tank I decided to purchase innovative marine 30l i feel like you dont really need fancy equipment for this volume and before i purchase 150g tank it's a good alternative solution.

So far I purchased

So far I think I did good choices on equipment to be successful. A lot from the same equip from past nano tank

But since this time I want proper proper start (ada nano was a lot of mistakes oddly I passed algae stage pretty well lol)

So anyone recommend with good start? (Bacteria supplement recommendation proper way to cycle like lights off or on during cycle how to manage really well on algae cycles etc)

Did not buy any sand or rocks yet. I wanted to start with lr but I'm afraid of pests so thinking life rock

Seems like great way to cycle but what's the difference between traditional cycle and this cycle? Less algae? Also my nano started like this unintentionally lol due to my lack of research.
