Starting new setup

I use it and my tank is drilled I don't think I'll ever use pvc again or very little if I have to. Anything happens I can quickly fix but either or work great just run it out n up and put a return U on the top. Make sure you drill a tiny hole in the top of the return going into your tank for back siphon reason.

This is my little fresh water puffer tank but hope this gives you an idea on a U return pretty simple.

Hose clamps to seal up all the connections? Do you just use power heads for flow then? Is that return under the water in the tank?

Hose clamp yes if they are out of the water and the plastic clamps for close to or under water. The pic of the fresh water tank was just a reference for the U tube that ones a canister filter but besides the point here more pics

So how would I run the return piping? That would have to be hard pipe right? I would probably like to do two returns. One on each side of the tank?
