after choosing the tank you want what comes next? Ive heard something about having a second tank under neath the firat one? Whats the next steps after picking that display tank out? What will i need to go further and what works rather than whats best? Im trying to get into this hobby so im starting small with a 20-30 gallon tank size. Any tips or tricks and help is appreciated thanks in advance!

the tank underneath the tank is called a sump you can research 1 if you like to decide if you want 1

If you are starting out with a small tank you won't need a sump. Just get an All In One AIO tank like something from Innovative marine. It will have everything to get started except maybe light and flow.

Don't get too carried away. First decide what you want in the tank. You can run a canister filter on that size tank I do. When you decide on what you want get some cheaper lighting, and a hang on the back skimmer, and a power head

Do yourself a favor and get a 40breeder 2 jebao powerheads a cheap black box led enough live rock to fill 1/3 of the space in the tank. This way you can get some cooler fish than just clowns it’s got great dimensions for a smaller tank and a 5 gallon bucket water change each week is all you need to be successful as long as you don’t overstock.
