Starting Over. Need help with equipment

Since my 40 breeder crashed I've decided to change things up and restart. I bough a Fijicube 20 gallon peninsula tank. It's definitely the nicest tank I've ever owned. Everything is really solid except for one small crack on one of the inside panels. Is this something I should be worried about or should it be fine? Also, I want to buy all new equipment for the tank. I already have an AI prime HD so lighting is already covered. The tank came with a 240gph return pump. I'll use this for awhile and see if I want to upgrade it later. Can anybody give me specific recommendations for certain equipment? Thank you very much!

Also, I'm on a fairly tight budget so I'd want to get equipment that offers the best "performance per dollar"
