Welcome. I joined two years ago as @HankstankXXXL750 and then added this account for my sponsorship. I joined for free as every time I googled a question about my reef I was sent here. Found the people to be both helpful and friendly so I became a supporting member, then a partner member and now I’m even a sponsor. I wish to help keep this forum available for everyone. Thanks for coming aboard.

What's best the best product to bring down phosphate levels? I Just checked. Reading. 50 ppm
How old is the tank? Red Sea 90? Is that total I have the 350 which is 75 display and 90 something total. I have the most problems with phosphates in that tank. It is my smallest but don’t think that is the issue. How are your nitrates running. I notice you changed salts was that due to ALK running high?

Phophate products, I have used Phosguard from Seachem but you have to replace it frequently (especially if you overstock and overfeed as I do). I have been using lanthanum chloride (Brightwell phosphat-E) liquid dosing into the skimmer with an auto doser on my larger tanks. This tank is upstairs away from all my others, and was set to be a FOWLR but I added some GSP so guess it is a mixed. I recently decided I would use it as a test case and am only dosing Phytoplankton and testing to see what results I can get. Live phytoplankton will help with nutrient export, but I want to see how it does when it is unbalanced. My phosphates are over the top in that tank but nitrates are within my target range.
