Starting over!

I have been battling aptasia and bubble algae in my RS 170 for some time now. I am also planning on moving next month so I am going to take an opportunity to reset the tank!

I have a plan to sell my fish and corals, but I wanted to ask what is the best way to completely sterilize everything in the tank ---- glass, all the equipment etc. I plan on throwing out my rock and sand and getting brand new.

You can clean everything with bleach… even the rock. Or better yet give your rock a muratic acid bath and save yourself some coin! Rock will be brand new and white as can be..

Yeah I would just deep clean the rock and cycle it again. Also set up a quarantine tank this go around to avoid getting them again and add CUC before it starts.
