It's been 10+ years since I've been in the hobby a I've always missed it. Since its been so long I've decided to go small and take is easy. I went with something simple like the Fluval evo Marine V. So far it's been a great tank @ about 5.5 gal. I quickly realized that I do eventually want something bigger but since we are not in our forever home I'd like to stay in the 20-40 range. I've been playing around by adding things to it besides keeping it factory. I felt it needed more movement so I have added a temporary submersible topfin pump and a Finnex HOB refugium. I modified the biocube skimmer by cutting it down about 2 inches so it will fit in the refugium. Still learning as I go so I've been keeping it simple with easy corals. Although I am getting a little more confident as I go. I've got a weekly 25% water change & maintenance regimen. The only hiccup I've had so far is the funk I got when a purchased a Orchid Dottyback that is now recovering in QT and doing great. Take a look and let me know what you think. Any advice and constructive criticism is welcomed. Thank you (I believe I'm experiencing my first mushroom split!)

That looks really great! You know what kind of fish is perfect for this size tank? Those little antenna gobies with or without a pistol shrimp. There are several and they are pretty darn small but oh so pretty!

I will definitely do that... I'm definitely going to keep the fish count to just two. I like your recommendation! Thank you

Welcome, love nano tanks and yours is really nice!:)

This reef looks really nice! I would love to see you expand it. What is the "yellow mass of tubing" in your tank? I really like it. I really hope someday you are able to move your reef into a bigger tank.
