It's been 10+ years since I've been in the hobby a I've always missed it. Since its been so long I've decided to go small and take is easy. I went with something simple like the Fluval evo Marine V. So far it's been a great tank @ about 5.5 gal. I quickly realized that I do eventually want something bigger but since we are not in our forever home I'd like to stay in the 20-40 range. I've been playing around by adding things to it besides keeping it factory. I felt it needed more movement so I have added a temporary submersible topfin pump and a Finnex HOB refugium. I modified the biocube skimmer by cutting it down about 2 inches so it will fit in the refugium. Still learning as I go so I've been keeping it simple with easy corals. Although I am getting a little more confident as I go. I've got a weekly 25% water change & maintenance regimen. The only hiccup I've had so far is the funk I got when a purchased a Orchid Dottyback that is now recovering in QT and doing great. Take a look and let me know what you think. Any advice and constructive criticism is welcomed. Thank you (I believe I'm experiencing my first mushroom split!)

Welcome back to the hobby!
