So I have had a TON of saltwater tanks over the last 10 years but never anything over a 150g. And I only had that tank briefly. I recently came across a killer deal on a 220 monteray setup. Tank is marineland pride and joy setup with the monteray stand and canopy. Has a custom rock wall installed as well. I was able to get this tank, stand, canopy and ecotech battery backups all for 1000.00. I've recently picked up a sump but that's it. We are gonna be on the process of moving soon so it sits in the garage Taunting me.. I'm gonna start getting my equipment here and there just wanted some input and recommendations on some return pumps, skimmers etc... I will be going with mp40s as you can see there are three cutouts for them Already two on back wall one on right side. Any input or advice would be great. This is gonna be my go all in tank so I want it done the best way possible. I'll be plumbing the sump into the next room over.

Man That's a lot going there! What's the nature of the back? Is it all natural rock ? Tell is more !
Yea pics def look overwhelming but in person it's alot bigger and more spaced out! That's all real rock. Held up with egg crate and a type of puddy used. A local saltwater store installs these very nice and high quality.

I like it! Reminds me of wall diving.

I am not a fan of the minimalist look that is currently popular.

Looks like a TON of rock sitting empty but once you start filling it in with coral they look amazing

Should be a cool setup. Congrats on the great deal.

I know when I was in school, our marine science center had a few of these rock and eggcrate walls and they do look good once they're grown in
