Starting water !

Hey guys. I finally ordered everything I need to start my water and cycle my live rock. Can someone help me through the steps of making my water and getting everything into the 75 gallon tank. Thanks !

What exactly did you purchase? Do you have a RO/DI unit?

Get a 55g Brute Trash can or 55g food grade barrel. Fill em with water, get your salt mix in there, according to the directions on the bag. Mix em up, leave sti for a hour or so, then pump the water into your tank.
Fill tank half way, pour in sand, lay live rock on top. Your new set up is going to be very cloudy for a bit, don't worry, it will clear up. Install heaters and powerheads on new set up after tank is filled the rest of the way, after you've put in the sand and rock.

I have everything except lights and protein skimmer

I put my rock in first so it is sitting on the glass not the sand. That way when I get sand sifting critters they don't cause a rock slide.
