Finally got more lights.
Should I go with 2 or 3 lights?
I am ready for SPS!!! LoL

BRS recommended settings:

I think it's too white.

Unfortunately 2 of them are HD and the middle is 16HD.

IMO Don’t get the six line they’re spawns of satan, they will become the bully of the tank and they’re impossible to catch to get out of the tank

So... I guess this skimmer is working now?

I made a stand with egg crate and pvc.

The dial is at minimum. Do I need to increase the skimmer again since the bubble is still overflowing. No water though. Just fine bubbles

I think I can say that my chaeto is growing. It was on the bottom last night. But somehow its floating now.

Now if only the nitrite and ammonia goes away.. hopefully soon

Finally got around to test my phosphate, alkalinity, and calcium.

So if the hanna checker are correct.
My alkalinity is too low, calcium is good, and my phosphate is 0. Which is bad, right?
It may not be bad... Just my checker is not the ultra low

Edit: I found out that I bought the wrong hanna checker. 713. Not the ultra low phosphate.

I don't know if I am supposed to be destined to have this saltwater tank or not.

Hair line crack on top corner.

So.. I just found out about this. I was hoping that it was only a scratch. But I think its a crack because I can see it go in the silicone and frame. I can feel it on the outside but I cant feel it from the inside though. What can I do with this? Can I put an epoxy to stop the spreading?

Re-done the return pipe. Originally, the return pump was kissing the back glass. So I don't like it. Rookie mistake.

Also finished up the 2 manifolds for future use.

I have exactly Zero rimless tanks in my house (Over 20 Rimmed Tanks) so I dont have a picture of the lid on the tank itself. Maybe I can dig for one as I know I have posted a picture of one on a tank that someone had sent to me. I did snap a shot of the corner so you can them as they were...

So.. ammonia 0.5, nitrite 0, nitrate 10

Yesterday was ammonia 0.75, nitrite 5, nitrate 20.

I added 2ppm dr. Tims ammonia after yesterday's test.

Going to drop another 2 now.

Man.. I'm giddy.. I think cycle almost done
