Stay polyp

So i have green star and pink star polyp coral and my green star has its purple matt that always looks soft well my pink star has always looked very hard and now its shedding and looks wayyy soft is this ok or is it bleaching and dying its also shedding white skin like stuff

Btw i just blew it off with a turkey baster thats why its closed ot was open earlier

Star polyps are pretty hard to kill. Can you post parameters and tank age? Lighting would also help.

They look super healthy iv just never seen them shed like this my cabbage coral does the same just grows a bunch when it sheds i wonder if this is doing the same il post another pic of it now its open and all tank parameters are a+ i just run a little high on phosphate but i have been dosing phosphate rx and i bought the tank from craigslist from someone so not sure on age iv had it for atleast 4 months and id geuss its over a year old
