Steady SG. Creeping Salinity PPT?

So I am finding my salinity is creeping up. I am topping off evaporation water with Kalkwasser — But I don’t think it’s that. The salinity ppt is slightly off from my refractometer but maybe by 0.001
earlier in the data posted. No biggie.

But now it’s reading as of today as 1.025 SG measured by the refractometer. So it’s kind of throwing me off, as this is readings from PPT Apex, drifting/creeping up as high as it is, if you convert it’s pushing 1.027 SG. Temperature 77.7-78.9 hysteresis.

I think my probe is well placed, FREE, from ANY, ***bubbles***. I have a Tunze ATO for the kalkwassser top off. I am overall happy with Salinity probe, but what’s up with this?

I wouldn't trust the Apex probe. It's ok for a ballpark reading.

totally, I like the use it for the ball park. And emergencies —ATO failure , no water at all, etc. it’s just weird how it’s moving up and it was recently calibrated.
