Steel Tank Stand Epoxy?

Hello I'm having someone build me a steel stand out of square tubing 2x2. I'm wondering what you guys recommend for protecting the steel against rust, corrosion. Someone mentioned to me powder coating and or using epoxy to seal the steel. any recommendations?

I'd go with powder coating. But that's just my personal opinion.
