Thought id show you guys my 30 gallon tank from sweden thats been up and running about 18 months or so.

This is my first tank and i'm really proud about it becuase it took alot of time and effort to get this far. You how it is in this hobby, some days you just wanna tear the whole tank apart and redo it or just give it up, i´ve had my fair share of bad days with this one... but i never gave up and that´s what made the tank what it is today, hope you all like it as much as i do :)

Feel free to ask any questions about the tank and ill answer them best i can :)

here´s some progresssion pictures, and if anybody wants more macro shots ill throw them in aswell :)

cheers

Wow. That's a healthy reef !
Did you make the back wall?

Very nice progress man! Looks amazing!

Welcome, really nice reef, thanks for sharing your pictures

Super unique nice job!! I like the aquascape back wall style never see that in saltwater. What filtration are you running?

That was the whole plan ;) I felt so limited only having money and space to afford a 30 g since I'm still in school, so I thought to myself how can I make a small 30 into something unique and good looking, så i decided to make the middle open for sand and started from there :)

I'm running a skimmer(some random skimmer for 40 gals) filter socks from time to time, about 40kg live rock and A LOT OF sand haha, it's almost like an DSB at the back of the tank due to fishes and streamers :)

Absolutely beautiful!

beautiful and unique! i see you have quite a few fish as well. what is your maintenance routine?

Thanks a lot for the kind words,

Yeah it doesn't feel right putting more fish into a small 30 gals ;) plus it's easier to take care of nitrates with fewer^^

I have a dosing pump that buffs my calcium and alk (I dont add any magnesium) and I also dose 1 ml red sea nopox each day

Other than that I feed the fishes 1-2 times a day and fill upp the balling flasks, I actually don't change any water unless I have to :)

I also change the top of the sand bed every other 3 months for cleaner look :)

Some fish shots today
