They are in side by side tanks and have spent the last year flirting through the glass. Soon the two lovers will finally meet in a new 150 gallon I’m building. ;-)

I've had mine for about 7 years now and I was planning on trying to pair it but I chickened out after seeing how bad they batter themselves when they breed.
I'm still tempted to grow a couple of young ones up but my current one is so tame I don't want to risk it. I wish you luck with the pairing and please keep us updated.

Almost full grown. One is much smaller then the other so hoping I have a pair. I’m a bit nervous introducing them but hoping for the best. I don’t see any aggressive behavior at the glass so keeping my fingers crossed.
