Well, having a bacterial bloom that has heavily clouded the water for a few days, I have finally bitten the bullet and installed a UV Sterilizer. I wanted to use one of the HOB sterilizers from BRS, but a pump and plumbing are required, so I opted for a 24 watt "Green Killing Machiine" sterilizer from Petco. Most of the reviews on it were really good, with a couple of negative experiences reported. Does anyone have experience with this particular unit ?
