I just got done ridding a Hippo Tang of ich, so now I have a boatload of equipment that was exposed to ich.

I know to wash with a bleach or vinegar solution for the tanks, heaters, and thermometers, let dry for 24 hours. This kills any and all present ich. Any other methods to sanitize equipment?

I'm really wondering about the power filter I was using prior to the ich breakout. An aquaclear 70. I'm sure there's all sorts of nooks and crannies that will never fully dry. So is it garbage, suitable only for QT? Do I let it run in a fallow tank for 76+ days?
Run it in a tank full of a bleach solution?

Congratulations on curing the ich!!

I doubt the power filter is destined for the trash if it's been exposed to ich. I'd fill a small tank with anywhere from a 50:50 bleach:RDOI solution to a full bleach solution, and let the filter run on it for 24 hours. Then I'd dry it as best as I could, preferably in someplace warm and sunny, since heat and light help break down bleach as well, maybe for a few days. Then I'd run it in pure RODI water with a ton of bleach neutralizer (ex. Prime) to make sure that all of the bleach gets pulled out for 24 hours.
