Need to sterilize my sump before putting it back in service.

Looking for input on proper chemicals, and at what ratio.

Initial thought is to use bleach water

Its a trigger systems acrylic sump if the material matters.

I would do vinegar and fresh water since I prefer to go a more safe route incase I accidentally don’t clean it perfectly, but bleach water should work. I’d do a 1:10 ratio of bleach:water and let it soak overnight. Refill with clean water with a dechlorinator added and let it sit for another day, then give it the smell test and if no bleach scent I’d give it a quick hose down then put it back in after drying it out.

Vinegar helps a bit more in breaking down certain things I've found.

You can also use baking soda and water with a soft cloth - that's a really good glass abrasive. LOL I'm not a hundred percent sure what it would do to acrylic. I could test that tonight if you're curious

Well I had a massive dino invasion and I'm just trying to ensure I kill them off before setting up the new system.

Burning my house down is plan B
