Sticky Velcro circles, reef safe?

The nylon screw on my par meter stripped. None of the screws I have with thread into the meter. Can I use Stick on Velcro to secure the meter to the wand? Is it reef safe?

Might be me but I would be a bit concerned about the “sticky” in the stick on velcro. The hook and loop of Velcro is fine, it’s the glue. Not to mention that overtime the sticky will not be sticky due to the water.
How about string or a rubber band?

Rubber band won’t work, the only way to use that would be to wrap it over the sensor. I’ll use the non sticky kind and superglue it I guess.
