Still battling GHA or is this now Dinos??

Ok so I'll try my best to give you my advice. If it's possible get a full tank shot with equipment

I would just put a hold on what your doing there with phyto and pods, the reef chili ect except feeding your fish. The pods will be there no matter what, I double dose interceptor every year just as a precaution to any harmful crustaceans. The pods always come back and flourish especially without a predator. Get in a 40 percent water change with a handful more of snails and hermits. By the look of that daylight photo, it doesn't really seem to look that bad to me. Corals look a bit upset. The nasty clumpy sand I would scoop out. Possibly beef up your mechanical filtration like filter floss or socks.

Even though your phosphates and nitrates are low as a test result doesn't mean you don't have high levels of dissolved organics. Ex, I can dump in a whole pack of fish food, and that can linger in my tank for hours before it shows up on a test result. But then in that amount of time, my skimmer could be pulling all of that junk out. Now if this were to happen everyday, your corals are exposed to high levels of organics that you would never no about because of a test result. So its important to cut down on feedings especially in a time of having algae issues.

Other then that, algae will continue to grow untill coralline covers the rock. Witch is in turn, a predator Just like hermits and snails. Definitely need to reup on some of them and pull the little guys you have out of jail lol. Not saying these critters aren't optimistic, but overall they don't eat coral. What your most likely seeing is them step and cause havoc all over your corals, but unless the corals are dieng, they are most likely just cleaning up the job . Witch is perfectly fine. My hermits live and sleep on all almost all types of coral colonys in my tank.

You'll need to introduce some coralline algae whether its scraping it off a purple snail shell, or grinding some up from the local pet shop. Once that stuff takes hold, you'll rarely see algae outburst unless it were to die. Considering your dosing Triton, coraline algae will flourish

It may need longer than a few days at reduced feedings. Try the half for several weeks before cutting down more. Don't want to upset the fish. I've never had my tuxedo harm anything. Has picked up zoa frags before, and snails/crabs. I just remove them with my fingers or tweezers. I understand they may not be suitable for acrylic tanks though.
Ours is glass conveniently. That makes me feel a little better. The minute I hear Urchin, I'm like NOPE. On to the next. Lol I'll do some research on them tomorrow. May end up having to get one. Our LFS always has them in stock. How effective have you seen them? We thought our snails/hermits would do work, but they've all turned out to be super lazy and an honest waste of money as far as our CUC goes. Unless we just don't have enough. I read like 1 per 10g, or something in that range.

I'll give it a shot. We glued some corals down in their permanent spots about 5 days ago, and our skimmer has been acting psycho since. I tried emptying it, breaking the whole thing down to clean it, raised it, lowered it. It said NOPE. I guess remnants of the glue/putty still hasn't been fully filtered. Tried running it today and it just wasn't happening. It's currently turned off since all it does is overflow with clear water/foam and gets through the bubble trap (and as you can predict- fills my display with microbubbles). So, for the time being, I am just running filter socks. I've changed and cleaned them 2-3x today. I have a couple bags of media similar to marinepur that are seeding for my QT tanks. I guess they're providing some temporary filtration. Filter floss- I have 3 different sizes of meshy filter foam in the bubble trap. Sand wise- probably should bite the bullet and siphon at least half the bed tomorrow. I've tried to put it off after hearing nightmare stories about nutrients/gases being released. But doing it is inevitable considering the current situation. Food- I'm just being impatient. I'll decrease the amount slowly and monitor the algae growth. Full tank and sump pics below. Fair warning. It isn't photo worthy right now. Haha!
Sump pics are crappy. Had to stick my phone in the water since the acrylic isn't clear and the H80 is blasting.

Sump- ***** pink lighting, most of the algae is in the back left corner - it basically ate my chaeto (can't get a good photo- it's pretty crammed in there)

For the sake of a glass half full - at least The Stiff Miester still wants to show off and is fat/happy despite the depravity of his surroundings. ;Hilarious

Maybe cut back on how long the tanks lights are on..I have also used hydrogen peroxide with tooth brush out side of tank..then rise with tank water..have to take not get on corals..
