Still cyano?

Does anyone know if this is still cyano or something else after I blow off my rock work and sand everyday of the newly formed layer of cyano a brown or red long stringy substance is left over

@vetteguy53081 I've had someone tell me to run only blues and no whites at all. Based on googling that seems to not be good advice.

Do you agree to keep whites mostly off?

They can thrive under blue light

Yeah that is simply the easiest way honestly but just becomes a problem because most of us have corals in our tanks already so with that being said I think I'm just going too turn my lights off and let the cyano die off but what is an option for my corals?

I wouldn't.

Blow it around.

Filter.

Rince and repeat.
