Are you using liquid coral food are any other food? I was getting algae from feeding my corals and my water parameters were excellent. When i quit dosing the food my algae went away within a few days. I only feed them a little every two weeks and no algae.

SLack off and see if your algae goes away.

I only have a 120 and 2 hydor 4...1 each end,I thought that be enough and the white pvc in the pic is a spray bar in the back,I thought i have enough flow

You can have lots of flow and still a dead spot...it happens. My CUC keeps it clean now.

If everything else fails think about carbon dosihg. Redsea nopox works great for me. Check it out and research carbon dosing.

are you dosing vodka?

yeah im dosing vodka ben for about 2 months now...Idk if that has something to do with it or not,but i really think now its the coral food...been feeding way to much i think. also got a new skimmer but i thought i did a upgrade to a RO from a SWC but im not sure if was a wise choice, just doesnt produce the skim like the SWC but if all para are fine then it will work for me. Im going to stop feeding corals for a week and will do a 20% water change tomorrow,oh yeah i also switched salt form IO reef to Red Sea Coral,so many things ive done its hard to pinpoint one...

I think youve answered your own question.

Too many changes recently to pin point the issue. Too much feeding, vodka, salt change, skimmer, etc....?? Which is the issue? Hard to tell.

PHO4 would have been my first guess, if not for all the other variables. 0.04 might be OK depending on method of testing, but even photometers have a +/- of 0.04, so you could be at 0.08, where algae would likely appear.

Se IMHO, in addition to working out your other variables, plan on adding GFO.

Mind you another variable......if the tank is only a few months old, this might be normal.
