Still having problems with chemistry

Thanks! I actually did move my livestock into my QT tanks so they arent a problem. I keep those tanks going and have had no issues with those, strange I know.
As for the sand, I do plan on putting corals in at some point so does that change the plan for the type of salt?
Even if you add corals later, coral pro is meant for specific use cases and not ideal for the beginner reefer. Regular blue bucket is more than good enough, but other good options are fritz rpm and Brightwell neomarine if you’re going to add coral. Plenty of reefers have used instant ocean for years with success as well. There’s really no perfect salt, but I would still stay away from coral pro unless you’re well versed in how to utilize it properly.

I just wanted to give an update on my 75 gallon tank. I took advice offered here and drained my tank, changed out the sand, cleaned eveything up and refilled it using instant ocean reef crystals which is what I have. I know some have said to put down the test kits and just enjoy the tank but without doing at least minimal testing I cant know whats goin on with the tank. So When I refilled the aquarium, my KH was 9.2. Now, a week later it is 7.2. The only thinks in the tank are 2 clownfish and a cleaner shrimp. So I lost 2 dkh over the coarse of a week. Is this normal?

Thanks!
